I'm not sure how long it's been since I discovered the existence of cat cafés, but I've always wanted to open one here in Toronto. If someone were to beat me to it, I wouldn't mind at all! Just the thought and ambition of owning my own cat café is exciting, and hope to own one someday.

It may be surprising for some to hear, but I used to hate cats in my younger years. I thought they were eerie and boring pets to own. Now that I have a cat of my own now, I've learnt to love and appreciate these domestic feline companions. They're independent creatures, yet enjoy the company of others once they start to trust the people they're with. I'm positive that, if Nana hadn't come into my life, I would have been feeling so much lonelier during my teen years. I am a cat-loving man, and I have no shame of admitting this cheese. Cue a Homura hairflip, ww

My plan of accomplishing this is in pieces, and of course, it requires a lot of money. Renting a place, renovations and construction, hiring helping hands, keeping the cats healthy, people with allergies that can't get near a cat, but would like to see one... there's so much to consider. Ah, well. I'm still young, and it's okay to have big dreams to slowly turn into reality. All I have to do is keep this spark spitting and turn it into something bigger than the sun. Honestly, though, time is a really funny thing. I never would have thought I would choose the career path of chef, nor did I anticipate my love for cats to ever flourish. Putting two new things I love together into one super goal has me blown out of the water completely.

I used to be a guy with no ambition, no desire to make something out of my life. In other words, I was lame as fuck. I'm glad that changed, thanks to this one chubby little cat.
